Go to google news and type in Monson. This happened last week.
What's odd is.... what are they trying to hide, why precisely do
Norfolk CC want his death covered up ? On the face of it, it is
only vaguely indirectly to do with the Council ?
A "comprehensive investigation" will be carried out into the death of a
13-year-old ward of court in the care of Norfolk County Council, a
coroner pledged yesterday.
Jack Windsor-Monson was found collapsed at his mother's home in
Gorleston on Friday by his grandmother.
The teenager, who is thought to have taken a drug overdose, had been
living at a home run by Fenland Care at Welney, near Wisbech, but is
believed to have run away.
The EDP fought an emergency injunction obtained by the council, which
prevented the reporting of his death, and was able to publish the tragic
details on Wednesday.
At the opening of the inquest, Norwich Coroner William Armstrong said:
"Jack was the subject of a court order and therefore, in those
circumstances, the law will require me to conduct a comprehensive
investigation and to make appropriate findings – not only relating to
how Jack died by also the circumstances in which death occurred."
He said they were awaiting the outcome of toxicology tests and as yet no
cause of death could be determined.
"Jack's grandmother found him on the bed at his mother's house at 10am
on August 20 in a collapsed state, an ambulance was called and Jack was
taken to the James Paget Hospital but he could not be revived," said Mr
Armstrong.
The inquest was adjourned to a date to be fixed.
