Enhancced Disclosures

This should be under "Read my Story" but seeing the original thread has
"disapeared" I would like some info. Seeing we are both banned from the
child in care's school. Myself never having met anyone at the school. The
school being 120 odd miles away. A solicitor who won't write to the school.
The point I am comming to is that I have just looked at my police
disclosure. On the four headings all say "None recorded". Now if I send
off for another one in a couple of months time. Under the heading
"Department for Education and skills information" will there be anything
saying I have been banned. If this will be the case I think I have no
recourse but to go to the papers either before or after the event.

Your views would be much appreciated.

Turn up at Trafalgar Sq next saturday if you can, you will meet some people
who can give you the best advice from experience.

If not, pop onto my site and browse to PACT and see what Marc has to say, my
own opinion is try the papers now but be warned they are seldom interested
unless its a trend in the news, so if you try now and keep at it, sooner or
later someone will be interested media wise.

John, I have heard but don't know for certain that for some disclosures
they may not appear on the personal copy.

When you apply as an employer (like me), a copy is sent to you and another
sent to the employer. I have heard (but have not found a case I know of
personally) that the two are not necessarily identical.

One thing additionally ; it is not only convictions on an Enhanced
Disclosure ; it can contain SS smears as well.

One chap we employed (who was excellent) was accused by some mad 16 year
old of rape. We knew about it, there was nothing to it at all (the claim
was impossible) BUT it appeared on his Enhanced Disc. when we upgraded
from the old system.
