Just like to know why a varity of messages have been wiped off. I made a
point of keeping my original message as "politically correct" as I could.
Artical 8 of the Human rights act say we are all allowed the right to free
speach. Any comments.

John/Louise it is possible to set messages to disappear automatically, I
think it is called X-No-Archive.

This "flag" is something that is sent when you send your message, it is
part of the "message header" normally this contains Subject, Date, Time
etc.

If you have X-no-Archive set then messages are not saved by the likes of
Google.

Some ISPs ,as policy, only keep usenet messages externally
accessible from their servers for 2 weeks or so.

The likes of individual.net, mailgate,mes-news and
Google groups, set up for usenet, seem to all hold them
indefinitely

go to Gogle and groups and find the usenet group you want and old threads
are still there.

You can under certain circumstances wipe you entry out but it destabilises
as I found out a NG but it reasserts itself after a few days.

Just to let you know I have not altered the settings on the computer for all
the messages I have sent. I have read all your replys with great interest.
I just wonder WHY the original message I wrote has dissappeared? I would
put money on it that either the original message will appear with a curt
note from the practice manager or on my solicitors desk with a recomend that
I cool thing down. Seeing this has vurtually been said before I poseted any
messages. His actual words were that we should bare in mind that she was the
sort of person that if you cross her she is the sort of person that would
make sure she got her own back. Lets see how long it will take for this one
to "disappear".
